My Adventure of Life with Cerebral Palsy
At the age of two I was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. This hit my family extremely hard ideas were racing like a race car... thinking what's in her future? Will she be happy? At the same time they were having the stress of taking care of a 2 year old and I'm a triplet so me and my two brothers all had brain bleeds...they prepared my family for the worst they thought we wouldn't survive and we could all have physical and cognitive disabilities. By the grace of god... I WAS SAVED AND SO WERE MY BROTHERS! I was the first baby to come home it was a true blessing...later my brothers came home we all had health brothers my parents are hero's they took such good care of us. Today...me and my brothers all have straight A's and they don't have any physical disabilities, I'M GLAD GOD PICKED ME BECAUSE I'M STRONG! From the age 11-13 I learned how to gain my independence my goal in life is to not to walk it's to have a HAPPY LIFE! Life is hard sometimes, I'm the only person in my school who is in a wheelchair but I love just rolling through the hallways and smiling at everyone! Right now I'm kinda stuck I have a dislocated hip I have lost 90% of my independence the last few mouths. I just have to tell myself it's only temporary! I'm still dancing, but I have to take it slow. This has really tested my faith....but it has brought my family so much closer and I'm so thankful for that!:) Right now, I feel like I'm riding a roller coaster. I have my bad days but I'm not letting this define me I will push through!! My goals for 2016 is to start motivational speaking around where I live. I plan on someday having kids, I have a true love for kids, getting married, being a teacher or and just being happy. I CAN GET THROUGH THIS AND I WILL!
